That spinning, zooming logo look doesn't need a special effect. You build it with three keyframes: flip the logo upside down and make it bigger in the middle, flip it back and shrink it at the end, then add Cubic In and Cubic Out easing so the spin speeds up and slows down smoothly.

How to make the logo spin and scale with keyframes

  1. Add a keyframe at the start. Put your logo on the timeline and tap it to select it. Move the playhead to the very first frame of the clip and tap the keyframe button (the diamond with a plus sign).
  2. Add a keyframe in the middle. Drag the playhead to the middle of the clip and tap the keyframe button again.
  3. Add a keyframe at the end. Drag the playhead to the last frame of the clip and add a third keyframe.
  4. Flip and enlarge the middle keyframe. Go back to the middle keyframe. Rotate the logo 180 degrees so it's upside down, and pinch it out so it's a little bigger. The size change makes it look like it's flying toward the screen.
  5. Flip it back at the last keyframe. Go to the last keyframe. Rotate the logo again until it's the right way up, and shrink it back to the size it started at. This makes it look like it's dropping back into place.
  6. Set Cubic In between the first two keyframes. Put the playhead anywhere between the first and middle keyframes. Tap the curve button right next to the keyframe button to open the list of easing options, and pick Cubic In.
  7. Set Cubic Out between the last two keyframes. Move the playhead between the middle and last keyframes, open the same list and pick Cubic Out.

Play it back. The logo should start slowly, whip around as it grows and then ease to a stop at its normal size.

The length of the clip sets the speed. If the spin feels too slow, trim the clip shorter or drag the middle and last keyframes closer to the first one.

Add motion blur and a shine for extra polish

If the keyframed spin looks too clean, add motion blur and a light sweep on top:

  1. Animate the rotation with keyframes, as in the steps above.
  2. Select the logo clip and turn it into a compound clip, so CapCut treats the animated logo as a single clip.
  3. Open Effects and add Motion blur to the compound clip. The blur shows up on the fast part of the spin and makes it feel quicker.
  4. Back in Effects, add a light reflection or shine effect so a streak of light passes over the logo.

FAQ

Is there a single CapCut effect that makes a logo spin? You don't need one. Three keyframes with a 180 degree rotation in the middle and another at the end give you the full flip, and the Cubic In and Cubic Out curves make it look like a preset animation.

How do I make the spin faster? Shorten the logo clip, or drag the middle and last keyframes closer to the first one. Less time between keyframes means CapCut has to cover the same rotation faster.
