What X covers up

The X header is 1500×500 pixels, a 3:1 strip. Most photos are 3:2 or 4:3, so a lot gets cut: the image is cropped from the centre to 3:1, which keeps the middle band and drops the top and bottom.

Your profile picture sits over the bottom-left corner of the header, and the exact crop shifts a little between phones and computers. Keep text and faces in the middle, away from the bottom left.
